May the Force be with you

With yet more thrilling news to celebrate, we’re feeling like real tax Jedis

Blowing our own trumpet is not something we do too often but, as May 4th approaches, we feel fully justified in sharing our latest bit of exciting news with you – it’s out of this world…

Hot on the heels of Breakthrough Group being shortlisted for two categories in Tolley’s Taxation Awards 2018, we’re delighted to say that our CEO Sue Nelson is in the running for the IoD London and South Director of the Year Awards.

She’s been shortlisted for her dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility, an honour that reflects our values as a social impact business that puts ‘profit for purpose’ at the centre of our thinking. Good luck Sue!

We’ll find out whether we’ve won in the Tolley’s Taxation Awards later this month and the IoD results will be announced in June. But regardless of the outcome, we’re pretty happy that our commitment to supporting innovative SMEs has been recognised at such high levels. Feeling very proud, we are…

Of course, we’re not the only people who are up for awards – there is a whole lot of very excited innovators who can’t wait for June 15th, when they’ll find out whether they’ve snagged a shiny FoodTalk Award. Designed to reward the brilliant brains behind some of the UK’s most fascinating foodtech developments, it’s London’s hottest foodie ticket.

So, why not join in the fun? Tickets are still available here.

If you’ve won an award for your amazing innovation, why not get in touch with us on 0800 772 0800 and tell us what you’ve been up to – we might even be able to help you claim back some lovely cash with R&D tax credits.
