Drone On
MANUFACTURING – The story of crash proof drones
The Problem
Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles are extremely popular with hobbyists nowadays. Used for filming, photography, choreography and lots of other frivolous activities, there was a desperate need to make them safer and more easily controlled by Joe Public and kids taking them on outings to their local park, without impeding the current functionality or adding excessive weight.
The Solution
Some clever clogs broke down the design process into manageable bites and have succeeded in constructing a drone entombed in a lightweight cage which is not only crash proof but mechanically self-levelling. It’s also cost-effective and more reliable than it’s digital counterparts. See? Clever clogs.
